Entry-level animation camp introducing the full 2D animation pipeline
Animation Spring Camp is a two-part, entry-level program designed for students who want to explore animation through a clear, structured production process. The camp introduces students to the fundamentals of 2D animation while guiding them toward creating their very first portfolio-ready project.
Throughout the program, students experience a complete animation workflow — from character design and layout to storyboarding, animation, coloring, and compositing. Each stage is broken down into daily tasks, helping students understand how professional animation projects are built step by step.
The curriculum focuses on hands-on practice and production thinking. Students learn not only how to draw for animation, but also how to plan motion, organize scenes, and turn ideas into a finished sequence. No previous animation experience is required.
By the end of the camp, each student will complete a short 2D animation project that demonstrates character design, movement, and visual storytelling — an ideal starting piece for an entry-level animation portfolio.
This camp is ideal for students who are curious about animation, digital art, and creative production, and want a guided introduction to animation as a potential long-term interest or future study direction.
